[ARTMS] Club Icarus

Anyone living in a modern metropolis carries a hidden wound in their heart. Beneath the dazzling lights and intricately built skyscrapers, there are those who live in the shadows. They gather at their own secret virtual club, Club Icarus, to share their stories.

That's why the intro track is titled Club for the Broken—a club dedicated to the wounded.

The title track Icarus draws inspiration from the myth of Icarus, expressing a hope that those who are hurt will begin to heal, and that new hope will bloom from their scars. The delicately repetitive piano line, gradually layered with rhythms and melodies, declares ARTMS as the most aesthetically refined group in K-POP.

The music video, created in collaboration with Digipedi, maximizes artistic expression by incorporating modern dance, brought to perfection through the flawless synchronization of the members.

Obsessed explores one of the modern-day urban afflictions—obsession. It addresses how people today often cope with stress through compulsive eating, consumption, or obsession over others. Yet, the musical expression is anything but abrasive; it's purely beautiful. As if to say that while obsession may be seen as a disorder, it is, in truth, a beautiful instinct.

Goddess is the most unexpected track in Club Icarus. It delves into the genre of Hyper Pop, with lyrics fully refined in English. The hook isn’t filled—it’s deliberately empty. These extreme, vacuum-like expressions may just reflect who we truly are in the year 2025.

Verified Beauty was a track ARTMS had been preparing since the very beginning of their contract with MODHAUS. It captures the moment when the five girls took their first step into a wider world—no longer just young girls, but women embodying empowered beauty.

The final track, Burn, was previously pre-released through OMA and now marks the completion of the journey from LOONA to ARTMS. Six years of waiting. And now, they set everything ablaze to spread their new wings.
